Coca Cola Net Operating Revenue, Gross Profit and Operating Income 2001-2017 

Coca Cola's Net operating Revenue in 2017 was 35.41 Billion US dollars and its gross profit 22.15 Billion US Dollars. Both Net operating Revenue and Gross Profit declined in 2017.

In 2017, there was a decline in the Net Operating Revenue of Coca Cola. Net Operating Revenue declined by 15 percent or $6453 million. Apart from the currency fluctuations globally, there are other factors like acquisitions and divestitures that also affected the Net Operating Revenue of Coca Cola in 2017.  In 2016 too there was a decline of 15 percent or $2431 million versus 2015. This decline was primarily affected by the currency fluctuations globally as well as acquisitions and divestitures. Since 2013, the Net Operating Revenue of Coca Cola has continued to decline.

However, that does not mean the brand's position is unstable. It has been able to face the pressures in a changing economic environment without much difficulty.  Apart from that it is investing in acquisitions for fast expansion which is also affecting its Net Operating Income. In 2015 the Net Operating Revenues of the brand declined by 4 percent or $1704 million. Most notable thing is that  US constitutes still a large source of revenue for the brand and in 2016 and 2017, the brand earned 42 percent of its revenue from US. Around 58 percent of its Net Operating Revenue was from outside US.
