By December 2017, Costco had 746 Warehouses running worldwide. 741 of them had been open by September 2017.  Previous year, the number of total Costco warehouses open was at 715, bringing the total number of warehouses the retail brand opened in 2017 to 31.

Costco is one of the leading names in retail business in US. As of December 31, 2017, the brand had 746 warehouses operating globally.   Of all the markets that Costco serves globally, the brand had the highest number of warehouses operating in US market. In US, it had 518 warehouses running of which the highest number was there in California 125, followed by Washington 31 and Texas 28. After US, Canada and Mexico had the highest number of warehouses, 98 and 37 respectively.  As of December 31, 2017, Costco had 28 and 26 warehouses operational in United Kingdom and Japan each respectively. Previous year, the number of total warehouses stood at 715 .
