HP is  a leading provider of PC and other access devices, imaging and printing products, and related technologies, solutions and services. The brand has a large customer base globally. It sells to individual customers, SMEs, large enterprises, government customers as well as health and education sectors. Founded in 1939 by William R Hewlett and David Packard, HP was incorporated in 1947. In 2015, HP was divided into HP and HPE or Hewlett Packard Enterprises. After the separation Hewlett Packard company changed its name to HP Inc. The brand has achieved some serious growth since it separated from HPE. Having overtaken Lenovo, HP has become the biggest PC maker of the world. In 2016, the brand acquired the printing business by Samsung which has also helped it gain momentum. However, given the decline experienced by the PC and printing businesses in the recent years, HP has acquired some impressive strength. 

The data included in the tables presents the data on HP Inc., as the company came to be renamed after the separation and for HP and its subsidiaries both.  HP's net revenue in 2017 was 52 Billion dollars around 3.8 Billion dollars higher than the previous year.
