Retail sales of Hyundai Motors 2010-2016 (Korea and Overseas)

The retail sales of Hyundai vehicles has increased steadily year by year. The brand became the fifth largest car manufacturer in the world within a period of less than fifty years. From 2010 to 2016, the sales of Hyundai cars has increased by 1.2 million. In 2016, it sold 4.9 million vehicles which was around 1 million higher than previous year when the brand sold 4.8 million vehicles. In 2010, it had sold 3.7 million vehicles. Asia and North America remained the largest markets for Hyundai where each accounted for 38.3% and 18.6% of the entire unit sales respectively.
