Number of Inditex Stores Worldwide 1996-2018

The following table shows the number of Inditex stores globally from 1996 to 2017. It includes both the company owned and the franchised stores.

Inditex has seen a lot of growth and expansion internationally in the recent years. Apart from physical retail stores, it has also introduced e-commerce in several key markets.  ZARA's 7475 stores were operational across 96 markets in 2017. While the number of company owned stores reached 6420, that of franchised stores reached 1,055 in 2017. Last year (2016), the total number of stores was 7,292. In the first half of 2018, the number of stores has reduced to 7422. Inditex is operational across 96 markets and 49 online markets in 2018.
