The following table shows the revenue of Lenovo from each geographic segment. The sums are in millions.

Lenovo has divided its entire market into four different segments that are China, Asia Pacific (AP), Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) as well as the Americas (AG). Americas are the largest source of revenue for Lenovo of all the four segments. However, China alone accounted for around 25% of its revenue in 2017-18. Revenue from the Americas reached 14.2 Billion US dollars in 2017-18 and that from the EMEA 12.5 Billion US dollars. Revenue from China was 11.53 Billion dollars and that from the Asia Pacific 7.2 Billion US dollars.

Lenovo is a leading brand of desktop PCs, notebooks and smartphones. Last year, it was the largest brand of PCs based on the number of shipments as per reports published by IDC & Gartner. While Lenovo has maintained its leadership status in PCs and tablets, it is also working on growing its presence in emerging technologies. The CEO of Lenovo is Yang Yuanqing.  China is the largest market for Lenovo products accounting for around 25% of its entire revenue in 2017-18. Apart from China, the other three geographic segments of Lenovo are Americas (AG), Asia Pacific (AP) and EMEA (Europe, Middle East & Africa). Its business is divided into three major reportable segments that include -

 PC AND SMART DEVICE BUSINESS GROUP (PCSD), DATA CENTER BUSINESS GROUP (DCG) and MOBILE BUSINESS GROUP (MBG).

The PCSD group is the largest reportable segment accounting for more than 70% of Lenovo's revenue for fiscal 2017-18.
