Lenovo is a leading brand of desktop PCs, notebooks and smartphones. Last year, it was the largest brand of PCs based on the number of shipments as per reports published by IDC & Gartner. While Lenovo has maintained its leadership status in PCs and tablets, it is also working on growing its presence in emerging technologies. The CEO of Lenovo is Yang Yuanqing.  Among all nations, China is the largest market for Lenovo products accounting for around 25% of its entire revenue in 2017-18. The geographic segments into which Lenovo's business is divided are China, Americas (AG), Asia Pacific (AP) and EMEA (Europe, Middle East & Africa). Its business is divided into three major reportable product segments that include - PC AND SMART DEVICE BUSINESS GROUP (PCSD), DATA CENTER BUSINESS GROUP (DCG) and MOBILE BUSINESS GROUP (MBG). The PCSD group is the largest reportable product segment accounting for more than 70% of Lenovo's revenue for fiscal 2017-18.
