Walmart’s financial performance has continued to grow fast during the past few years. In 2018, its revenue climbed past 500 Billion dollars for the first time reaching 500.3 Billion dollars. In 2017, its total revenue was at 485.9 Billion. Net sales in 2018 reached 495.8 Billion dollars rising from 481.3 Billion dollars in 2017. Both revenue and net sales rose by 3% in 2018 compared to the previous year. For the past 5 year, the gross profit margins of Walmart have remained at close to 24%.
