Market share of major car brands in 2016 and 2017 in U.S.

US is a major market for automobile brands, infact the biggest one for several of them. As per the FCA's Annual report for 2017, GM, Ford and Toyota are the best selling brands in US with the highest market shares followed by FCA (Fiat Chrysler Automobiles).  GM holds the largest market share in US at 17.1%, followed by Ford at 14.7%. Toyota's market share in 2017 was 13.9% and that of FCA 11.7%. While the market shares of the top three brands increased from 2016 to 2017, that of FCA has taken a dip falling from 12.6% in 2016 to 11.7% in 2017.
